I have a 1998 Dodge Ram it has the keyless entry so its ORANGE / green (lock) and then pink/green (unlock) according to diagrams with a 5 wire on the unlock. I am installing a Code Alarm power elite 7600 I can get the alarm to lock but not unlock the system uses no relays, its all built in. Thanks GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

i asked the same question about my 94 sunbird with a crimetopper alarm. i have the same exact problem and 2 wires show +12 when doors are unlocking. confusing.

Thanks but doesn't help much...if I were supposed to use a relay I would 5 wire the unlock side with a SDPT and be done with it, but this code alarm isn't supposed to use relays for the lock/unlock as they are already unlocked.

I meant to say relayed instead of unlocked

i can't find anything other than a review about your alarm. when you said it is "relayed", does it have the relay input/outputs or just outputs? meaning does it have: lock #87a, lock #87, lock #30......, unlock #87a, unlock #87, unlock#30? or just 1 lock and 1 unlock wires?

just 1 unlock wire than you need to use a relay and treat the unlock like a 5-wire.

There is an 87(a) unlock switch on the advanced harness and an unlock motor output on the basic harness. It also has a lock switch an a lock motor output but I am only using the lock motor output. I don't know about an unlock #30 though. :(
