Thanks Raydawg for the reply and information!  I have not done a passkey system yet ,so it might be my biggest problem.  Which is better 555Uor G ?Do I have to use the same bypass type as the alarm-same manufacturer ? This is my second install so I am still learning. Thanks

They are all basically the same, some require you to have an extra key and some don't.  The mods made by DEI, come with easy to follow instructions.
Do it right the first time

Does anyone have any bypass manuals (555g, u etc.) or links  I can look at to get an idea of how they hook up ? I hope to start planning it soon. Is a key type bypass better than a non-key one? Thanks everyone-

I have another idea on this install. (2001grand prix ,Hornet553T) I want to hook up progressive (drivers priority) locks. I believe I can do this using channel 4 of the alarm and a relay. Does anyone have a diagram on this, my diagran is missing a wire.  Where can I find the wire going from the motor to the relays? Is it only in the door or are the relays in the kick panel? Thanks

I hope to start this tomorrow, if the rain lets up. I was looking at the wire guide and it states for the domelight use door trigger. Do I have to diode isolate these wires? I am thinking the light might set off the alarm when unarming.
