I think this week I'm going to have the APS996A alarm installed in my 97 Acura Integra GSR. Anyone have this alarm? Is it a good alarm? Any other recomendations? I don't car about remote start, I just want good security on my car since it's on the top 10 most stolen cars in the country.

this is a decent alarm other ones to consider are the Dei - viper 791xvr, if you dont want remote start you could get the 691 version same thing just no remote start, they also make the clifford rs3.5 nice alarm as well, these will allow you to expand and there gaurantee is good,as well if your car does get stolen and your alarm was installed by an authorized dealer they will pay up to $2500 insurance deductible check into it . The dei,viper,clifford will probally cost you a little more.
