i'm not sure if this is normal so here is what happened after i installed compustar 2wfm. after i connected the battery, the alarm went on, it was difficult to turn off but i managed to it off. i did the remote learning routine. the remote LCD appears to work. i went on to press tachometer learning process but it gave 3 flashes on the parking light. according to the manual, it means i have connected the wrong tach wire. i have not double the wire connection because it was dark out by the time i tested the tach learning process. i will check it tomorrow. i am so sure that i connected the correct wire. what do you folks think? is there any missing step that i need to know?

IF TOO HARD TO TACH WIRE USE INJECTOR WIRE IS THE SAME LIKE COMPUSTAR SAY IN THE INSTALLATION ON ALARM TOO HARD TO TURN IT OFF SOME TIME ALL YOU REMOVE BATTERRY AND PUT IT BACK OR CHANGE NEW BATTERY WILL TAKE CARE THIS

i have connected the wire according to the tech sheet. i wrapped the wire from the alarm around tach wire from the ECU. no solding yet because i'm at a testing stage. i have pressed the black buttom again. the parking light  flashes 3 times again. if the wire is not connect, does it have 3 parking light flashes? what do you folks think?

YOU HAVE TO TAP IN TO TACH WIRE  IF YOU WRAP 3 OR 5 TIME IT DONT WORK LIKE THAT MAKE SURE YELLOW AND BLACK FROM COMPUSTAR IT DON'T WORK USE FUEL INJECTER  YES UNDER THE HOOD

on the ECU, there are two wires of the same color. one of several tech sheets has the specific location on the 1st wire that i connected. it was not the tach wire so i tried the other wire and bingo it's the correct one. i have tech sheets from several different companies and i have 3 wires that are different from all tech sheets. jes, i don't know why tech sheets are not as accurate as i thought. anyway, i love my remote starter. thank for you help anyway.
