I have a remote starter installed, but damn, I cannot start my car because of the immobilizer unit!! Yeah, I know, I know...get the bypass, insert a spare key and you're ready to roll!! But not for a super-secure Honda Prelude 2000. To program a new key into the system, it requires a "Red Key" which of course - I do not have. The only way now to go around it, is to dish out $380 (CAN) and have Honda dealer replace my whole immobilizer unit. Ain't gonna happen, don't wanna spend that chunk of money... So I'm thinking, may be I can build a home made bypass, that will not require a key? Some relays here and there and yupi, it's done!!?? Anyone can help me on this? If not, then I guess, I will have to leave my key in the ignition, during the freezing winters of Canada...and pray these thiefs don't get out in cold weather.

Oh, this is great! I was told there are no bypass modules for Prelude, which do not require a key. Then I found one from bypasskits.com, but it requires 2 keys to program it. Does the 555D require 2 keys for programming purposes?

PKH1 only require one key to program and then you don't have to require you to leave a key.

Is it a new model or what? Because last time I was looking at it, it clearly said that 2 keys are required to program. Now, I look at this one, and in the manual it said only one key, or to be more precise it didn't mention anything about a second key. May be that's the one...I need.

I can't make a second key because I don't have the red key. Preludes are different...

If you are using the PK1 from bypass.com, then you will only need one key to program.    I have done couple of preludes and they only need one key to program, very much like the honda's
