I believe the VKE is a keyless entry unit and the VSS is the alarm system  ? Here are the OEM wire colors:

|              12V|red                 |+  |ignition harness *1         |

|          STARTER|purple              |+  |ignition harness *1         |
|         IGNITION|pink                |+  |ignition harness *1         |
|        ACCESSORY|orange              |+  |ignition harness *1         |
|       POWER LOCK|lt. blue            |+  |door boot or behind cluster |
|     POWER UNLOCK|black               |+  |door boot or behind cluster |
| PARKING LIGHTS +|brown               |   |light switch                |
|       HEADLIGHTS|yellow              |+  |light switch                |
|     DOOR TRIGGER|white               |-  |pinswitch or *2             |
|  TRUNK/HATCH PIN|tied in with doors  |   |                            |
|       TACHOMETER|white               |   |coil on top of motor        |
|       BRAKE WIRE|white               |+  |at brake switch             |
|     HORN TRIGGER|black               |-  |steering column             |
|           WIPERS|purple              |+  |wiper switch                |
|  LF WINDOW UP/DN|dk. blu - brown     |A  |in drivers door             |
|  RF WINDOW UP/DN|blue - wht/tan      |A  |in drivers door             |

Notes:

*1 The ignition harness is on top of the steering column. It is easier to access by removing the instrument cluster and removing the two 15mm bolts that hold the steering column.  *2 Also found behind instrument cluster.

From what the picture looks like of the alarm... it's a Viper system ( DEI ) Are there any markings on the back of the brain module for both the units ? If you can post an FCC ID tag # we will be able to locate the manufacturer and also get you wiring diagrams.
