Anyone ever hear of this problem....i installed a Direct Start CS-400. Whenever i remote start the vehicle and enter before the timed shut off period has expired, i'll put my key in the ignition and put it in gear and drive away. Imediately i notice that the truck doesn't seem like it wants to move...almost as if the torque converter has locked up. I also no longer have OD. The darn thing just stays in 3rd. If i pull over, shut it off, and restart with the key it drives normal...

I did notice the service engine light came on today also. When i get the code i'll let everyone know what it was. Maybe it will hacve something to do with it.

thanks for any help..

Chuck

Not all of the ignition wires are being powered up during the RS.
You should have this corrected, as it will damage your vehicle.

You will want to verify that the following wires are connected properly while the RS is engaged.
Ignition 1 = Pink
Ignition 2 = White
Acessory = Orange
There is a *brown* wire which is also a accessory, but this is not used, as it only powers the radio, pwr windows, and wipers.
You will also have to do the following to ensure the codes are cleared. Either have the dealer do it with a scan tool. Or, start the vehicle and let it come to operating temperature, and do this three times, or disconnect the battery for 20 minutes.
