trunk pin in fibreglass canopy?

hey guys im putting a trunk pin in a fibreglass canopy for an alarm and i cant figure out how to get it working. it is a 2 pronged door pin if that helps any....can somebody please help me asap??????????????

ya we've tried that, we've tried grounding the whole casing from the doorpin we've tried grounding it back to the battery and it just won't work, this is the first time i've had a problem with this and we've broken 2 other doorpins just messing around with this. thanks for the help though man

Have U put a meter on the switch pins tomake sure of  open / close ?

Have U metered the ground also?
2 pins is 2 pins......either open , closed, or neutral

hey guys i figured a way to do it but it was just an all around pain. ive never had that kind of problem with a stupid pin before  i up running all the wires off of the factory doorpin grounding it on the casing of the factory doorpin itself. thanks for the help.
