does anyone have the install manual for the above unit???? not able to program the tach wire on a 2004 dodge 2500 diesel.....

i found the pdf file, the owner just cant get the unit to learn the tach signal.......any ideas????

Don't know if this is the same, but sometimes these items R missed:

1. Start with the programming switch in the OFF position.  (make sure the Control Switch is off and the doors R UnLocked)

2. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.

3. Flip the program switch ON - OFF - ON - OFF - ON - then OFF. (sometimes people miss this)

4. Immediately turn the ignition key OFF.

5. Flip the program switch ON, then start the vehicle using the ignition key.

6. When the unit senses the tach signal, the parking lights will begin to flash.

7. Flip the program switch OFF.(they miss this too) The parking lights will turn on for 3 seconds to indicate that the tach signal is stored

and the unit is now out of the program mode.
