I have installed the crimestopper rs900VII in my 97 monte carlo.

The rs900 gives out a negative pulse for door locks and trunk release. Do I need something extra to make it work in my car? Cant figure it out.

Also do I need to connect the ign2 wire for any reason?

Oh, also, should I hook up the tach input? it starts and runs without it but could this be harmful. If so what do I connect it to?

Thank you for any feedback

You need to do more research and planning before you continue on this project.

All the wires in your schematic need to be connected and powered for the specific vehicle. If you want the RS to be consistent in operation without fault.

If you want it to start, yes . . .

To the white wire in the ICM.
