Car: 89 rx7.
okay, been working on my alarm this morning and everything is going well.
its all wired up and working good - bar the relay.
first i installed the relay as an ignition killer. it worked in that the car would die after about 1 sec (even though it would start - is this the way ignition killers work?)
i thought a starter kill would be better as you cant even get the starter cranking let alone run the car at all. So i simply changed the relay's wires over to the starter wire coming from the ignition barrel. go to fire it up.. and it starts??
what could be going wrong here? all i did was change the two green wires from the relay to intercept the starer wire (i left alarm -ve and acc where they were.)
really confusing me!
cheers

I did not read anywhere where you stated you actually cut the starter wire, for the starter inhibit.
