Can someone shed some light on how to install this. I found a text version of the wiring diagram on this site, but it doesn't list everything i need.

If someone has wired these 2 togheter before, I would really appreciate some help.

I am having trouble locating the parking light (+) wire. The post on here said it was in the kick panel heading towards the rear. I can't seem to find that. Also have some concerns tieing into the 10gauge wire. How, or what kind of connector should i use. Should I cut the wire, and then solder onto it?

I am not new to wiring, just new to the whole remote start/keyless entry thing.

Thanks.

i'm pretty sure you can find the parking light wire at the BCM...at least you can on the 03 Cavaliers as i've done a bunch in the last few weeks

strip back a bit of insulation on the primary wires and solder your RS wire to them, then tape the heck out of them

Kgerry-

You don't happen to have a wiring diagram for the 03 cav's do you? I know they are pretty similar in design.

The positive park light wire is indeed in the kick pannel right in the front corner of the vehicle. There is also a large loomed harness running under the dash to the left of the steering column that it is in. And as kgerry said strip back some of the 10 gauge and solder the wires then tape everything up. You always want to make sure those main wires are protected. I generally suggest staggering your splices if possible just because then they cant every short each other and its easier to make look nest because you dont have a huge bulge in the harness.
