Which sensor is falsing?

I have Compustar installed in my car now for about 2 months and sometimes I get a false alarm. Well, not that often, maybe 4 times so far, but it makes it hard for me to diagnose, as I can't disconnect each sensor and see what happens, because I cannot predict when it will false. I thought it happens when my car is parked on an angle (tilt sensor falsing), but it just went off on my drive way and it is straight and flat. Here are the sensors I have: - Shock (compustar) - Audio/glass (DEI) - Tilt (DEI) Which one you think causes the falsing? I'm still thinking tilt sensor, because I can't think of something what would cause shock or audio sensor to false. They are both set to medium sensitivity. Tilt is set to max (there are only 2 settings, max and normal), but that's because when I tested it, it wasn't sensitive enough. Like I could jack up my car and it still wouldn't trigger. Maybe I should set it to activate after 10 minutes instead of like 10 seconds? What are your opinions?

And why arent you asking the alarm system what sensor has tripped? It will tell you via the LED as to what zone. Unless you are saying all 3 of them are wired in to one input. Then, they should have been diode isolated to prevent back feed from the others. Regards EVIL Teken . . .Knowledge is power. I wish I could ask the alarm system! :-) Shock and audio sensors are connected to one trigger input and are diode isolated. The tilt sensor is connected to an additional trigger input on the alarm. When I turn on/off the shock sensor with the pager, then all of my sensors turn on/off. Note: it will false in the first 0-2 hours the alarm is armed.

What make, model, year vehicle is this. Sounds like a GEM's issue.Knowledge is power. But only if you apply that knowledge in a positive way, which promotes positive results in others.

Disconnect one device at a time until the falsoing doesn't happen anymore. This may take some time considering you said the falsing doesn't happen alot, but as long as you have two of the other sensor's active, the alarm system will still be operational against theft. Also, what make, model and year vehicle is this ?Jeff

It is a 2000 Honda Prelude. I will try to set the tilt sensor to activate after 10 minutes and then wait and see what happens. If it still falses then I'll just disconnect it and hopefully that will be the one.
