1998 Altima remote start add-on

I'm installing Crimestopper RS-901 remote start add-on on my wife's 98 Altima GLE with factory alarm and keyless entry.  The Altima has one radio accessory wire (WHITE/ blue) that is hot on both ACC and ON. The car also has one blower accessory wire (BLACK/ pink) that is on only when the key is in ON position (off at ACC). Do I have to isolate this BLACK/ pink wire using relay or can I just connect the Crimestopper accessory wire (gray) to both the BLACK/ pink and WHITE/ blue? Thanks.

Pardon my stupidity (newbidity if that's a word, lol). I read the article on the diode. I suppose what you mean is to connect the remote start radio accessory (gray) directly to the car's accessory (WHITE/ blue) and connect that gray to anode and BLACK/ pink to cathode. Right? I understood that part. What I don't understand is BLACK/ pink is supposed to be on during ON position and off during ACC. What does the diode do in this case?

I was thinking to use a relay to get the BLACK/ pink wire to be on only at ON position. I'll be using an ignition wire (on at ON and START) normally close with the BLACK/ pink. On the coil, I'll be using GND and START so that when START is commanded, BLACK/ pink will not be connected to anything (open). On the back of my mind, somehow I think this is not necessary..... Hmmm..... can somebody enlighten me please?

Update: I got all necessary wires connected. I  found a good tach using the tach finder mode of Crimestopper. Programmed it (option #1). I programmed the RS-901 for 3 negative pulse remote start (green wire connected to Altima's door lock-). When I tried remote start by locking 3 times, nothing happened. Somehow, the RS-901 (RS-900 written on the module) doesn't recognize the 3 negative lock pulses. I verified the green wire received 3 pulses when I pressed lock button 3 times by multimeter (voltage dropped to around 10V for each press).

I'm lost. Maybe it's the way I'm programming this thing since I only have the brake pedal. Anybody here familiar with Crimestopper RS-900 or 901 could kindly help me? Thanks.

Final update: I solved the problem. The Nissan factory alarm & keyless doesn't toggle the unlock(-) and lock(-) wires when unlock or lock button was pressed. I found this out when I ground the RS901 remote start activation green wire three times, the car did remote start. The Altima gray lock(-) and purple unlock(-) only work using the main switch in the passenger door. So when I locked 3 times using the main switch, the car also did remote start.

The solution was to use a relay and connect it to the driver door lock motor wire(+). The relay was wired to bring ground to the green RS activation wire when the driver door lock motor gets +12V.
