I've got a 03 F350 that has a truck service body that has 9 door compartments that my customer wants protection. I already added a Ford System 6 alarm but the customer doed not want pin switches as he beleives they rust....break...etc... Any ideas on an alternate system i can add to each door? Micro switch????

If he doesn't want rust then mercury switches are out, plus they are usually made of glass and break easy. Magnetic switchs wouldn't be a good idea either because they will break easier then the pin switches and they are more touchy. The best thing is the pin switches for the doors, you can use an anti rust grease/sealant for the rust but breakage can't really be protected against. You could also use a second shock sensor in the rear but that wouldn't provide as much security as pin switches.
