Hello installers:
I have installed a remote starter in a Venture 99, it has the PK3 printed in the key, I ordered the 555G bypass module however it did not work, I followed the installation instructions, Is there any trick to install it? Any help is appreciated.

did you hook it up for fuel bypass? using the blue wire and moving the jumper over? the 99 venture is not data bypass like the 2000.

These are the connections I made:
Jumper on Fuel mode:
555G-------------PK3
blue/white-------blue
pink/black-------cut yellow PK3 side
pink-------------cut yellow ECM side
Purple-----------N/C
green------------green key sense on the cilinder key.
blue-------------(-) remote start out
black------------gound
red--------------+12V
When I try the remote start the LED blinks 0.5s then stays off for ever. According to the 555G manual just inserting the key in the cilynder shouldl let the R/S work, however you have to turn the cylinder to enable the R/S otherwise it will show PASSKEY and shut off.
Thanks,

what wires in the vehicle are you cutting, there's a 4 wire harness with the wires you need.
the ign wire should be PINK in the 4 wire harness.
there is no programming required for fuel enable PK3

umm, you cut the what wire?
In the PK3 harness in the vehicle, you cut the pink wire.
Pink/Black goes to keyside, pink goes to car side of this wire you cut.
Oh, and make sure it is in fact fuel enable. if the harness in the vehicle has more than 1 purple wire it's data and you need to change your setup
