I have a viper 550 esp installed in my 2001 PT cruiser.  All of the operations from the transmitter work except for the unlock button ??  I checked the wiring and it is all in tact and there are resistors wired in to the two lock unlock wires as I expected to see.  any ideas??   could the resistors be fried?  or need to reprogram the transmitter?  or somthing else ???

I appreciate any help you can give me.

By unlock button do you mean that the alarm doesn't disarm or doesn't unlock the door?

*1 Locks are negative trigger through resistors. Must use relays. Use 3K (3000) ohms for lock/arm and 7.2K (7200) ohms for unlock/disarm. Unlock requires a double pulse. *2 Also found at the keyless entry module. The keyless module is located above the radio in the center of the dash.
