hello everyone,

i came to the12volt.com hoping for help i need. I have in my 1990 nissan pulsar NX a working, in good condition alpine 8040 security alarm. But now i want to transfer it to my my another car, 1990 honda accord ex 4door (i have stereo system an so on....so alarm would be useful :)). So now the biggest job for me is to get that alarm out, because i dont have either car wire color codes or security wiring diagram.

If theres anyone could help me get any of those diagrams, or maybe its not even worth transfering it?!

Thank you in advance,

i got my alarm working and everything, but few problems are bothering me,i just can't find a way around them. I cant get the hazard light flashing, i tried  connecting white[light flash] wire from alarm to parking light wire under the dash [RED / black], then i used a relay from example from "basic light flash diagram" on this website. no luck....

Then door trigger. alarm goes off when i only open two front doors, rear ones dont work. i used door sensor wire from alarm connected to  BLACK/ white [door trigger wire]to my car wiring.

I still have few wires left alone from my alarm, ALARM OUT (-) and warning output (-) where do these belong???

I have 1990 honda accord EX 4door, and my alarm is alpine 8040.

if there is anyone went trough same crap, pls let me know :)

Test the output of the wire for the parking lights on both the car and the unit to make sure that your getting a (+) signal from each one when activated. If everything is a go, then direct connect the WHITE wire to the RED / BLACK wire and it will work for you as long as the fuse is still good on the alarm system.

The door trigger should work off the driver's door wire. Does the rear doors trigger the dome light whe opened ?

The ALARM OUT(-) is for the connection to a pager system that will accept a (-) trigger to let you know that the system has been set off.

The WARNING OUTPUT(-) is for the same reasons as the ALARM OUT but this is just for the outer sector trigger.
