Hi

I have two questions to see if you could help me

My door loks is always locking everytime I press the foot brek parked or while driving I know they lock when I first start driving and unlock when I shutoff the car but they shouldn't lock everytime when i press the brek while driving

second when I remote start the car it trys to crank again after it's running

i connected the tach wire to the wht wire from the passenger side of the harness I tested the wire and the signal is 0V to 1.3V when adle and when I rev the car goes up so I think I have the right wire if I do have the right wire then what's the problem do I need to learn the tach wire to the starter unit and if so how do  I do it  because the alarm manual doesn't say

also I tried to desable the auto door locks lockout and the interior lights delay and it didn't work, is it because I have an aftermarket MP3 player do I need to put back the factory radio casset  because of the antithef module

my car is 1996 Firebird convertable 3.8L Auto

alarm is al838s

Im not using a relay for the trunk release it works without spliced on BLK/WHT after factory relay

I used the door triger with door locks to waikup the RAP

I maid a antithef bypass module and a starter killer

It sounds like you eather have a problem with the system or you have a wiring problem that has lead to a problem with the system. I would recomend having the system looked over by someone with a good bit of experiance with remote start systems and their installation.

now I just need help with the door locks

come on guys I'm sure there is an intelegent person out there that would give me an idea why this happens

Power Lock RED / BLACK AT BODY CONTROL #228
Power Unlock ORG/BLK & GRAY/BLACK MODULE **
** Due To Accessory Power Loss At Body Control Module (BCM), Power Door Locks Will Become Inoperable 35 Seconds After Last Door Is Closed Upon Exiting The Vehicle. The BCM Will Remain Without Power Until Either Door Is Opened Which "Wakes Up" The BCM. This Situation Can Be Resolved Simply By Sending A Negative Pulse To The GRAY/BLACK Driver Door Trigger Input Wire In The 32 Pin Blue Connector At The BCM At The Same Time As The ORANGE / BLACK Unlock Wire. Please See Note #228.

Thanks Draasch

that's how I wired the door locks right from the beginning for them work properly, the door locks are working fun the only problem is the that everytime I press the brek I hear the locks trying to lock when I'm driving (here is the story I start the car switch to gear the doors lock like it should then after that everytime I press the brek it tries to lock again even when the car parked and running doesn't make a diference hom many times I press the brek it trie to lock everytime "like this I press the brek lock press the brek lock does that old the time the brek is pressed"
