2002 Mits Galant keysense wire

How would i interupt the keysense wire on this car. WHen i meter it, it reads ground without the key and .8 volts with the key inserted.

im trying to install a remote start, i have the mit-pku bypass. It does not want to work, i am not sure if the bypass isnt programmed right or i need to inteeruppt the keysense wire to disable the factory starter disable.

If I remember right,  the pku-mit is a simple connection to a 12 volt source and a groundout from the remote starter.  Need to make atleast 3 loop around the ignition cylinder.  Once you have this connected, then you need to program using 2 valid keys.
