93 Grand Am remote start

My wife's Grand Am has had a remote starter in it for a few years now, it's a DEI. Lately the car has been "loping" when it's running with the remote start but as soon as you turn the key on it levels out.
All of the connections are still proper and correct, nothing has moved. What would cause this?

measure the ign. wires and make sure they are putting out the correct voltage while in remote start mode......
