corolla 2005ce + csi300 dl question

I had a CSI300 installed on my corolla 2005 ce by circuitcity. I found if I use the lock switch inside the car and slum the door to close, I won't be able to unlock the doors by the remote any more (even push lock then unlock on the remote) . Instead I have to use key to open the doors. The remote still makes the car beeping and flashing though. The circuitcity guy said it is the way to be. Can somebody tell me if it is normal or the circuitcity guy did something wrong? Thanks.

the installer used the lock/unlock wire, but on those cars they need to use the key arm/disarm wire, which is the wire the is activated when they key is turned in your door.  these wires are:

blue/white in dr kick (-) for lock

blue / YELLOW in dr kick (-) for unlock

this will solve all your prblems.
