I went through my autostart manual and I don't see how to be able to drive to a store, and take the key out while keeping the engine running? Or is this only possible by removing the keyless entry and leaving the key in the igition? I did a search no this on the forum and turned up no results, I don't really know how to describe it. Thank you for your time!

The manual really should say how to do that. Typically you just press the start button and the unit should take over. What model starter do you have?

Actually, Jrilla it does, I was just looking in the wrong area. Its an AS-6520LCD from Autostartusa. It's under the idle mode section. Thanks
