I'm installing my first remote starter on a ford focus. need wiring diagram and all help will be appreciated, i.e. good reliable brands, etc.

it is a 2002 wagon. I'm pretty familiar with wiring, just need the color code for the wires of this model.

Use DEI part number 555S to bypass. 1 Keyless module is behind the glove box to the right. 2 To meter the brake wire, must turn ignition on. 3 Low beam at the headlight switch is GREEN/ red. 4 Only if equipped with factory alarm.

This is my first install of a remote starter. Plan on using my wifes Explorer as a guinea pig first. Like all jobs, if you have the tools and wiring diagrams, take your time, most people can do it.

This is a great forum and thanks to the professionals who give their knowledge to help the novice.

Does the 1995 Ford Explorer have passive start? I'm going to put one on my wifes truck first. The Focus is my father-in-law's car and it is a Christmas gift. Don't want to screw that one up. What brand do you recommend? Keyless start and remote doors.
