I have a Viper 791 with a single two-way remote & a Keynokey passive keyless entry.

Both have not been installed yet.  I would like to attempt to merge the two together but in order to do that, I would need to interface the Keynokey to the Viper with the arm & disarm feature.  The way I see it, it seems to be two ways, one, locating the circuit in the Viper brain for the arm & disarm.  I just don't have the extensive knowledge but generally, I do know what area the brain does.  The second thing, which happens to me my first choice, is to obtain a one-way remote and assimulate it to the keynokey by giving it power without the remote and make direct connections to the remote.

Or maybe I should get rid of the Viper 791 and get an alarm that accepts external arm & disarm signals other than the remote?

What do you think I should do / try?

Thanks! Sean

It is defeating a major purpose of buying a 791 to not use the secure two-way remotes....
I certainly wouldn't recommend getting inside the 791 brain (and I've soldered on many circuit boards in my time).
Yeah-- I can't see any way to do it other than your idea w/ a one-way remote.
Grr. Argh.
