There MUST be a way to reset the valet code !!!!

I recently purchased a used Clifford IntelliGuard 700IQ.  After obtaining Owner's and Installation Guides, I can find no documented method to reset the valet code.  The newer G4 and G5 alarms can reset the valet code through the CliffNet Wizard.  I cannot believe that you just have to throw these things away if you forget your valet code.  Or in my case, you by one used and the valet code is not known.

Anybody out there that has access to Clifford tech support, please call them and find out the procedure to reset the valet code.

scirocco16v,  Do you know this as a fact, that dealers cannot reset the valet code?

My hope is some Clifford dealer will see this post and share the procedure.  That is, if dealers have access to the procedure, and it is not a top secret manufacturer only procedure.

Mark, has to be reset by Clifford themselves... dealers can't do it. As you feared, it's a manufacturer only procedure.

I bench tested the alarm last night and the valet code had been set to "2", factory default.

Everyone, thank you for your advise, but I lucked out this time!  Anyone thinking about buying an older used Clifford alarm, this valet code could be a real problem.  Make sure you know the valet code before buying.
