555L bypass with Presitge rs alarm?

Can you use the DEI 555L bypass with the APS-996A unit from Prestige?  Any other suggestions that might be better besides the relay and trimpot method (i.e. another brand of bypass module)  THanks again everyone, this is 1 awesome sight

i'm about to put the APS-996A unit in my cavalier in like a week. everyone i have asked told me to use the dei 55l to bypass the passlock 1. but im no pro, thats just what im told

No...that DEI 555L will work just fine. Only wire that will be different than a dei alarm is going to be the status wire. Just look for a wire that pulses ground when you activate the remote start..and that is your wire to hook up to the blue wire coming off of the 555L.
