Our shop is doing a AstroStart in a 04 E350 Van. My question is -
1. what are the door locks in this thing. I have several different wire colors/locations from different sources. The RS was pre wired for 5 wire rev. , BUT I find on the lock / unlock wires (pink/grn, pink/yel I think) at the VSM are each triggered by a ground, and 12v is not found at the switch. (passenger side)
2. (keep in mind I didn't start this install, I got thrown into it, because of a employee termination) The relays on the RS are on board, pin 87 is wired to fused 12v on both lock and unlock, this gives me 12v on pin 30 when the lock or unlock in pressed on the remote. In my mind I run those wires to ground thus giving me a ground pulse for my desired function. Is that correct??
Sorry if this sounds confuseing, but like I said I got thrown into this and am just looking for a quick answer.
Thanks

Thanks David however I don't have those wires for the lock/unlock (red & brown) in this van. I think it might have factory keyless in it. I'll let you guys know what happens tomorow. I might take over the install and do it from ground up. It threw me for a loop today just for the fact that it was late in the day and it is definitly different from our othe vans we deal with...
