Asianwolf fm 2009 Remote transmttr ques.

I recently installed the asianwolf fm 2009 v2.0 alarm. I can do all remote functions from afar, but won't get any feedback to pager until up close. I was wondering if antenna was bad. Also, there are two other wire connectors that are connected to the antennna harness.That makes 3 connectors on the antenna wire itself. The manual shows nothing for these wires. Does anybody have any idea? Tried emailing asianwolf but no resply. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, asianwolf is a big seller on ebay from somewhere in California...the item is nice yet support sucks!! Can't really blame them...their business is to sell. That's what they do....Thanks anyway riceman

OK OK!!! I rerouted the antenna wire along the dash went to the passenger side of vehicle mounted the antenna vertical along side the windshield trim The range is very good now. But does anybody know what the other two wire connectors on the annttena lead is for?

Anyone know if it's possible to have the remote tell you the status of the system without having to hit button(5) for a few seconds and get confirmation?

The unit should confirm every command you send. The status button is in case you forget what command you sent last. What else are you wanting it to do?J Rilla

Thanks for the response...My remote(s), I have two 2way transmitter remotes...both of them don't tell me if it's armed or disarmed or whatever is going on without holding button 5 down for a few seconds asking for "con"--confirmation. Is there a way to turn a feature on that will display status of vehicle security system without asking for confirmation? And, does anybody know what the two other wire connectors are that are alongside the antenna wire? Thanks in advanced...

no there isnt a way to do that,the transmitter can only show what stauts the car is in when you hold down button 5,otherwise is shuts down and goes to sleep until it recieves a command from a button or the car

the other wires are for add ons that can be used later on.As far as the support its hard to respond to the TON of emails that we get here but we do have a tech support line and email,check the website for updates and feel free to post questions here

Yea, I did check their website and it says that they don't have Tech Support. Question 20 on the FAQ'S on 20. Do you offer tech support? To keep cost down and pass the huge savings to our customers, we do not provide tech support. However, we do provide a link to a website that provides Technical Information for Mobile Electronics Installers. Just click on the tutorial link on the left. If you do a search on asianwolf alarms...you won't find very many. I understand the tons of emails they receive but, asianwolf is only an awesome seller. Not supporter. Seems as if they care more about the sale then the customer. Just an opinion. Thanks
