hi ,i've got an 04 sebring to do and ordered this moduleCH-DT1000 It will take care of trunk, locks, transponder andfactory alarm by accessing the obd11 connector. It appears pretty straight forward except for the programming of the unit. you set the correct dip switches and run through a couple of quick steps. However at one step it says to use a fused test lead and power the ignition. This is where i want to make sure of what to do. ddo i power up the ignition wire of the car or power up the unit???It seems like i would power up the vehicle but whick wire ?And is a fused test lead just a power wire wiyh an inline fuse?
here is the website with a pdf file with all the instructions .Just select product list and interface modules .Any help would be appreciated..www.prostart.com
