Hello all, this alarm was given to me but of course no install manual with it. I would like to know if anyone has the wiring diagram or knows the sequence. I have searched the net only to find other models made by avital. Some of the diagrams for those are close,it has a 18 pin connector and a 8 pin connector. It has a shock sensor and valet switch and 2 relays, one is for starter kill and the other is unknown. 14 pin conn. wiring left to right  is  blue, brown, violet, grey, white\black trace ,lt.blue, green, pink, tan, white, orange, red, and black.  then  on the 8 pin they all have traces . i belive this is for the door locks. they are as follows left to right  green\white trace, red\white trace, blue\white trace, green\red trace, green\black trace, blue\red trace, red\black trace and blue\black trace.  I found several models at directed electronics but not the champion. My friend guarntees me that it works and he had the remote, also works.Just dont want to fry it trying to install it. I am also installing 2 12 sony xplodes and 2 10 jbl subs in a custom box,2 600 watt amps, and a pioneer cd head unit. Alot of encouragement for a thief...... this is going in a 1988 trans am  w\t tops.also if anyone knows the type of door locks that gm used on this car it would be helpfull.  Thanks for taking time to read this long post. It is my first and i guess i thought too much info was better than not enough.  anyway thanks again.     bowhunter566avital champion mark 3 wiring help -- posted image.

well i didnt recieve any help on this so i had to help myself so if others are needing this info then too bad........ not really, the pin placement for this alarm is the same as a xl1000 by clifford which is avalible at www.clifford.com . this was figured out by trial and error so use it at your own risk and dont be mad at me.also as far as programming this alarms features you need to turn key on and flip valet switch back and forth and count chirps untill you reach the desired feature to turn on and off.one chirp for on two chirps for off.in other words, after you flip valet to desired feature leave key on and siren will sound a single chirp for on and a double chirp for off, each time want to change features you must turn key off and then back on and flip valet  to desired feature, hope this helps because it confused the he@# out of me.good luck.
88 trans am 383stroker,pioneer head deck,2 600 watt amps,1 120 watt amp 2 pioneer 4 way 6x9"s 2 pioneer 3 way 4x6"s 2 sony 12" xplod, 2 jbl 10"gt,crossover,monster cbl.(build it and they will thump)

Avital Champion Mark 2

We have just bought a Dodge Ram pick-up with the Alvital Champion mark 2 alarm system installed. There was no manual with operating instructions for the alarm delivered with the Car.

Your information is helpful, gonna try to do the same .

Still keep on looking for a dealer who sells de owners manuals.

A copy off another owner would by useful too.

Keepon Smiling
