Installed keyless in 04 Ford Taurus and everything worked great.  Went to lunch and let the car sit for a while and when I tried to unlock it didn't work.  I unlocked it with the key and then everything seemed to work.  I tried it again and let the car sit for awhile (about 1 hour) and the same thing.  Is something going to sleep like the F-350? Please help!

It sounds like the bcm is shuting down. You might try and pulse the door trigger wire through a relay off the unlock wire.

Areyou pulsing the factory disarm wire before you unlock.... ? that will wake up the module.

Does the car have factory security?

No, I am not pulsing the factory disarm, but I will sure as hell try that.  I thought something was going to sleep, but on all my tech notes it says nothing about waking up anything.  I will try both these suggestions and let you know.  Thanks for the quick replys guys.

Actually the 04 Taurus do have the trim switch disable feature. I don't see any information listing it either, but they do have it. Try the other suggestions or wire up driver door priority if you want that will take care of it.
