I have a 2001 Ford F150 with a Directstart CS423 remote start. I need some help connecting a DEI 611T. I want to use the 611T to add dome light survalence to my truck, use the (-) door lock pulse to trigger the 611T, I need to know what wires to connect to the dome light in my truck. I know that someone must have some experience with this timer.  Do i need to connect 12 volt to the red wire (86) and the (-) trigger would go to black (85). then this is where i get confused how do i connect to the dome light wire??? Do i cut it in half and connect Brown (87) wire to 1 half and the Yellow to the side that goes to the light (30)

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I AM REMOELY CLOSE
