parking lights on 2003 intrepid

I hooked up an Omega Research add on alarm for factory keyless on a 2003 Intrepid and could not get the parking lights to flash when the alarm was activated.  The parking light trigger on the alarm was a + output, so I converted polarity useing a relay.  One wiring diagram said to use an 110 ohm resistor and the local shop said to use a 2.1k ohm resistor.  I tried the latter but no flashing???  Help please.

110 ohm should be right. the wire should be yellow at the switch. I'd double check the wire in the vehicle.

check this wire pin 8 C7 connector at the fuse box, BLACK / YELLOW pos.
