does anybody know if a 2001 nissan altima requires a immobilizer bypass and if so do u have any suggestions on which one to use. I prefer to use a nkr type.no key required

Unfortuneately they only make a NKR bypass for the 2000 Altima. The 2001 you do need a key. 2001 nissan altima -- posted image.
