i have an 01 accord v6 with the viper791xv... i was trying to set the turbo timer to run for 5min instead of the default time. i keep getting told that all you have to do is turn the key to the on position and hold the valet switch till it chirps then hit the valet swith 8times and hold it on the 8th time and that will change it...but when i hold the valet switch for it to chirp to tell me its in programing mode it never enters.. please help!!!

turn key on then off. press and hold the valet switch until you get three chirps continuously with no pause in between. then hit valet switch 8 times and hold down on the 8th time. press unlock twice and that will do it.

but it never enters programing mode it just activates valet mode

ok it still didnt work it keeps going into valet

open a door. turn key on then off. press and hold the valet switch. when you hold down the valet switch, it will chirp one time then pause; chirp two times then pause; chirp three times. on the third one press the valet switch 8 times and hold down on 8th time. the alarm will chirp seven times with parking lights flash seven times. hit unlock twice and then the key on and off again to exit programming

so i open the door put the key in the ignition tun the key to on and then off...then hold the valet switch

......................nothing happens!!!
