I have a viper 791xv and I had to take my car into the dealership to get the trans rebuilt and when I got it back I got out of my car and went to target and armed the car I came out and when I tried to disarmed the alarm it mad like a wierd squaking noise and my alarm went off and it would not shut off and then I finally got it to turn off but, now I can not get it to arm.  When I click the arm button it just beeps and tells me I am out of range.  Could anybody help me?

I would bet that it really has nothing to do with the tranny getting rebuilt and more with the dealer cutting wires and unpluging stuff, etc. Call them and explain the problem, give them one chance to fix it and if they cant or wont go to the person that installed it. Why was that so hard?

Sounds like the antenna might have gotten unplugged. When I did one of those I pulled the antenna, ran the wire to the top of the windshield and put everything back together. Next I tested the system, forgetting that the antenna was sitting on my workbench. The 791 failed to recv any command and the transmitter beeped as if the car never responded back. If you had the system installed by a reputable shop they might help you out for free.

Yes, it was in valet mode or what ever I just opened my driver door and held the two buttom buttons down and she is working like a champ now.  I have talked to a guy near me and I am going to get the tt installed and the remote start.

Thanks
