I for one beleive that most products like this are only as good as the TECH Service and Company behind it.  There are better and there are worse.........

I just put one of those in my cousin's car..The shock sensor is pretty iffy..it is so cheap even the plastic edges are rough with no finishing. however, the alarm is pretty spiffy *hey it rhymes* I like it personally..would use again..except I would invest in an aftermarket shock sensor with pre-warning like a DEI stinger. Range is okay..seems reliable so far..almost two months and ticking..

I just started installing this brand a couple of weeks ago so far so good,I had to call their tec support today and they were very helpfull.

I have done a lot of this units they work really good the shock sensor looks cheap but works really well  I have done about 12 of this units for friends no problems at all, I have never call tech suport I don't know what kind of tech suport they got
