Anyone ever have probs with a Kia? It's a 01 sportage...   The RS works great but the lock and unlock were acting weird.. when the unit sent the ground pulse I got the hazzards and the defroster unit light came on on the dash, along with a grey relay buzzing in the left side of the dash.. Putting the key in stopped hat comotion, but then the factory key fob did nothing for lock and unlock..(what the F*ck!) To back tack this problem I started clipping wires.. First the lock/unlock No change, then to the factory alrm module. The horn lead and disarm (both - ) off the astro seemed to do the trick I started the car and the factory key fob worked the locks.. well now I cant disarm the factory alarm unit (disarms on unlock) and the guy needs to unlock the vehicle to RS the car... also none of the wires in the ign harness mached up to Astro or DEI's wireing charts. (I think I have that part right at least, no warning lights) I guess I am wondering if anyone ran into this before???   Anyone??
Thanks

HYMER...did you look at the alarm override picture    Did you check the production year, or just take the word of the customer as to what year their vehicle was?
