I purchased a Tecvox TC4182.  I found some references here but not enough to help.  There's virtually no installation manual just a circuit diagram.  For the remote starter there is an ACC, IGNITION, START (that goes to a starter diasable relay) and an AIRCON.  I did not connect AIRCON because I did not know what it should connect to...  and the remote starter does not work.

Also the trunk release (blue wire) is supposed to go to a relay to open the trunk - but  that does not work either.  The circuit diagram also shows jumper switches and switch #6 open is supposed to make trunk relay work -closed goes to pager (not included).  Jumper #6 is open.  I tried closed it makes little difference.

I'd appreciate any suggestions from someone more skilled than I apparently am.

Thanks Jimmy (Italnpimp59) for your post.  It didn't help too much.  I assume you think I should scrap the TecVox and look for a different brand.

Any reasons for your thoughts.  I'm green at this so I am trying to learn!  Thanks.

definitly.  i didnt wanna sound like too much of a smarta** but definitly get rid of that alarm and get a recognized name brand.  honestly, i would never ever put a cheap alarm in my vehicle cause if and WHEN it starts acting up, it can severly mess up your electrical system.  ive seen it happen
