Here is what I’m trying to do.  I have a Viper XV 790 Alarm system and want to hook it up.  Here are the connections I’m not too sure about – I mean I don’t know if they must have a relay.

  1. Trunk Release (relay required?) (if yes how to connect the relay)
  2. Domelight Supervision (relay required?) (is this necessary or do Accords have the domelight already triggered to the door?)
  3. Factory Alarm Disarm (relay required?)
  4. Factory Alarm Arm (do I have to hook this up and to what connection on the alarm brain)
  5. Shock Sensor Bypass (should this be hooked up to a relay for auto starting?) (is it even necessary?)
  6. Neutral Safety Switch Input (is this required on an Accord?)
  7. Does the PKH3 bypass need a relay from the ‘status output’ from the auto stater?  If yes will I need a diode to run both the shock sensor bypass and PKH3, with two relays?

I know there are a lot of questions, but I would appreciate any help from you guys/gals!

Thanks,

Omar

Sorry about the above error.  Thanks for the help guys/gals!

I am not sure that you should attempt to do the install yourself on a car that will require some detail attention.   Given the questions that you posted points me to believe that you don't have enough technique confidence to handle this car yet.   Get someone who has done this before and have them assist you.   I don’t want to discourage you from attempting to do this install, but I believe you should build up some more knowledge first before you make any attempt at this car.    If you like to learn more about this there are books available and many people here who can direct you in the right area.   Just open up a new post and ask your questions I am sure people here will help you along.       As to your the questions that you ask.
1.Yes, relay is require. + for trunk release.
2.No, light will turn on when you unlock.
3.No
4.Yes, only if you like to retain your factory alarm.
5.Shock Sensor Bypass, read the owners manual I am not familiar with your DEI product.
6.No,
7.Again, read the owners manual as I am not familiar with your unit. One relay will do the job.   Anytime you are running more than one thing, run a relay, and yes diode isolate them to avoid any feedback.
