Ok, as many of you remember I have had problems with a JDL-PK not working. Well now I got a new one (they decided the old one was defective.)

So i go through the whole programming and everything works, I even get the jeep to start with the JDL pk held up to the key cylinder. But once I try to take the coil of wire and wrap it around as many times as possible, it no longer works. I even take the coil of wire and wrap it around a screwdriver butt end, and then hold it next to the key cylinder (right up against it). Can't get it to start, I can only get it to start with the JDL-Pk held next to the ignition cylinder.

Basic wiring is as follows. Red wire to 12v constant, black wire to chassis ground. Brown wire to ground out when running on remote starter, I even did what velocity motors said to ground out the ground out while runnign wire, so i took the brown wire and hooked it straight to a ground, and still didn't work.

WOW, you've been having a heck of a time with this Jeep !! JDL-PK Problem -- posted image.. The only thing that I can think of is to make sure that you are getting continuity in the loop that goes around the key cylinder. Also, how close to the end of the key cylinder are you looping the wire?
