01 land rover discovery remote start

  Here's my problem. With the factory alarm, the vehicle must see the doors unlock to disarm. When I hook up a Remote starter in here, I tapped the disarm wire into the door unlock wire to disarm the alarm when remote started. Problem is the vehicle is now unlocked. I also tried a relay set up one of my buddies told me about, where when you remote start the car the doors unlock, and when the car stops cranking, it locks itself. theoretically this is perfect, but when the car locks after starting the factory alarm's starter kill shuts the car off. Any suggestions on how to remote start this without unlocking the car or setting off the factory alarm??????
