I have the 555L and the 791XV set up to handle remote start and it's working nicely.  I'm ready to dive into the door lock/unlock as well as the windows up/down setup.  I'd like to set the door locks to all unlock or lock at the same time - same for the windows.   I've read through previous posts and seen many ways to handle doors on GM SUV's but I don't need to be selective on locks - all to be locked or unlocked at once.

Second, is it recommended to use the GRN/WHT REARM to use the factory OEM alarm to handle light flashes and horn beeps?

Thanks!

the priority locks is a program feature that you can access in the menu by using the valet button and your remote.  In order to use light flash just hook up the white wire on the alarm to i believe the brown at the light switch.  to use horn honk, hook a relay up to the siren output that will convert a positive pulse to a negative pulse, then hook that to the horn wire.  no need to use factory arm wire.

I don't wish to activate the passive arming mode, I'd prefer to arm the system only with the remote (actively).  Can I make a single connection to the doors for lock/unlock when armed/disarmed?

Thanks!

the 791xv is programmed to arm(lock)/disarm(unlock) actively, by default.
yes you can make a "single" connection to the door to unlock all doors at once.

Great!  I'll try the single connections.

Can I just make the connections for Power Locks without relays (directly from the Viper  to the BCM)?

Do you use the Dome Light (BCM Black Plug Pin E) for the door trigger input ?

Should I connect the PWR DOOR LOCK (Lt Blue at BCM Brown)  to FACTORY REARM to protect the vehicle when rmote started?

Thanks very much.
