hi I'm going to attempt a remote start install on a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer, the car has an area in the dashboard that you need to wave the mitsubishi key ring against in order to start the car. will i need to bypass this somehow? if so can anyone tell me how? thanks.

nope just a regular lancer automatic es, its a mitsubishi key ring that was given from the dealership and to start the car, you rub the key ring up against an area to the right of the steering wheel, and you hear a beep indicating that you can now start the car with the key, if you dont rub the key ring, the key will turn, but the car wont start.
