i installed a crimestopper alarm/start combo on an 03 ram and im having problems with the door locks.  i used a dei data bus intergration mod. 456c, and that didn't work, next i wired relays with resistors to the WHITE/ green wire with 330 ohms for unlock and 820 ohms for lock. that didn't work. then i tried the lt. GREEN/ orange wire that does fact. alarm arm/disarm with 2k to lock and 480 to unlock. the lock works but the truck will not unlock, even with double pulse. any suggestions? im about to set the truck on fire.

What does crimestopper tell you to do..... maybe check the lock outputs...?

Them guys have more modules than DEI.....maybe try one of theirs. Sound to me like your doin everything correctly?

Ive allways wanted to torch a perfectly good truck   03 Ram Door Locks? -- posted image.

Try 400 ohm with unlock, one easy way to test is to ground a piece of wire with the resistor and touch the unlock wire. Close the truck door when you are testing it.

the penis mightier? i'll take foods that end in "amburger" for 400 please.....i've ben doing that. i figure it just needs a different resistance, and i haven't tried 400 yet. i think i'm going to start with one ohm and just work my way up untill it works. i get paid by the hour, so it seems like the perfect solution.

Sorry that my advice to you was of the obvious. I thought I can give a simple solution to some of the do it yourselfer on this site to try. Sorry, I didn't reconize that you were a professional installer.   It was an advice specifically aims at something that one can easily overlook.
As KarTuneMan said, you have done everything correctly.
Goodluck with it.

does the truck have factory alarm? if yes than use a CHDL3PK.
if not, I use 240 unlock and 680 lock if my unit has straight negative lock outputs. otherwise a relay ond 33, 820.
Make sure you have the right wire for lock, it will be WHITE/ DARK GREEN there are 2 WHITE/ green wires, the one with the darker stripe is the one you want.

well, i figured it out. the 2k for lock worked. i ended up using a 440 ohm for unlock/disarm. works perfect. it's strange because it's usually 480 like the tech shtte says, but i guess this one was flawed or somthing. 440 was the magic number. thanks guys.
