Working on a 93 MB 300 series wagon, doing a remote start. All is well except for the climate system will not turn on during remote start. (Works fine off of the key)
All the information I have on the car says that the Acc. wire should be Pink/Green. However, I can not find this wire. I found all of the other Ignition Wires under the fuse box, under the hood.
I'm assuming that this wire is what is causing the A/C not to work. I have the Pink/Red 1st Ign., Pink / YELLOW 2nd Ign.(2nd Acc.) hooked up. Radio Turns on, car remote starts fine, just no response from the Climate Controls. Does anyone have any suggestions on where else to look for this wire? Is there possibly another color it could be? Is it something else altogether?
There is a fuse for the Climate Control system in the fuse box, however, this does get 12v when remote started.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Why are you hooking up these wires under the hood? Your remote start brain is being mounted under your dash isn't it? The charts I have say to access all of those wires by pulling the instrument cluster. The wires should be mounted as close to the key cylinder as possible and the brain should be nearby. The heavy guage wires should be as short as they can be from the ignition wiring to the brain as well. The only wiring that should be running through the firewall into the engine compartment should be a hood pin and tach wire.
What kind of remote starter are you installing?

Sorry, I should have mentioned before that the cluster is being extremely stuborn and will not come out.
As for the wires being hooked up under the hood... If you remove the fuse box in the driver side firewall area under the hood, there is a huge open passthrough right into the car. All of the ignition wires come through here. (Except for the Acc. apperently, or it changes color at some point)
The remote starter is a Code Alarm CSI 300.
