I need the programming instructions for a 2004 toyota solara transponder key and remote. I have lost 1 set of keys and the dealers have already charged me $150 to buy the new set, but they want to charge me another 100 bucks to program the keys and the remote. Please help. I have an original set and a remote if that makes a diffrence? Thanks

make sure all doors and windows are closed
insert master key into cylinder
cycle the ignition from on to off five times
open and close the drivers door six times
remove the master key and insert the new key
DO NOT TURN THE IGNITION ON
the new key will register after 60 seconds, the theft light on the dashboard will go out indicating the programming has been complete
I know this probably sounds like b.s. but i copied it straight from the howard keys instruction manual. let me know if it works for you!!!
the dealer charged you $150 for 2 keys? not even programmed?!?!?!?!? WTF!!!! these keys are $8.95 ea. from howard keys
