I have a directed  556U unit to use to connect on a 2005 toyota corolla S.  I would really appreciate it if anyone can give me valid info on what type of connection I should use for the 556U on that speicific vehicle.  I have not opened the unit or the ignition column on the car yet.  I'm just curious whether I should wire the 556U with the basic connection or if I have to use alternate immobilizer interfeace No.1 or No.2

Hey,
I spoke to the shop forman at my nearest dealer and he told me that Toyota uses the same immobalizer on all there toyota cars and trucks.. So you could use the 555x on your 2005.. 555x will not require a key to be given up.
