Help with Crimestopper Window Modules

I just bought 2 CS-5601 Window modules.  The instructions are very limited.  There are 2 plugs,  an 8 oin and a 9 pin.  The 9 pin is self explanitory.  The 8 pin is greek to me.  It doesn't even say what wire goes to the current alarm.  Just talks about a couple of loops and the circuits to the other connector.  Does anyone have a diagram that show how these things go together?  I should be able to roll all 4 windows up and down. 

I was able to install the CS-2011IV.  I'm sure I could do this with a little help.

I finally got a hold of Crimestopper today.  They were absolutly no help. 

The guy couldn't tell me anything that wasn't in the instructions. Has anyone install these?

Well, I can only have a guess....

The green and yellow are a mystery, I can only guess that it's an optional output for use while the unit is in operation, but I can't think of a use off hand. You said above that you should be able to roll 4 windows up AND down, but I can't see the way they do this.

The triggers used (positive or negative) will depend on what your alarm outputs (most alarms have negative triggers, but check with a multimeter). So if your alarm has a negative output you'll attach that to the gray and blue wires, so when you arm the alarm it will trigger the windows to roll up.

The loops 1 and 2 are to select momentary (pulsed) input (most alarms have pulsed outputs) or constant (for alarms without a door lock/auxillary arming output and therefore will run from the constant starter kill output)

Pink is just a safeguard so the unit cannot operate while the key is on.

Black to ground.

So as far as I can see, you should only need to connect 4 from the 8 wires.

I reread your post and assume you're going to use 2 modules to allow you to roll up and down. In this case (for a neg output alarm) you'd connect the gray and blue wires of the second unit to the unarm output of the alarm.

I guess I need to look at the alarm instructions to see what wire to connect to from the alarm.

OK, here’s what my Alarm/RS has for Aux Connections:

GREEN/ Red: Remote Aux. Output 1 OR MAP-Mobile Accessories Protection (Optional, requires relay)

This is a programmable output that can operate two different ways:         1. (DEFAULT) A Remote Auxiliary Output that provides a ½ Second (-) Negative pulse when Button #3 is pressed to open a Factory power trunk or hatch release. It can function as an MAP output that provides a continuous (-) Negative output when in the system is put into VALET PARK MODE. M.A.P. can be used to interrupt power/accessory wiring to prevent unauthorized access of the vehicle’s audio or entertainment systems when Valet Park mode is ON. See Mobile Accessories Protection Diagram below.

And

Blue/Black: (-) IGNITION OUT or REMOTE AUX. Output #2 (Programmable, See Programmable Option #17)

This wire functions as a Negative IGNITION OUTPUT (Ground while Remote Starting) for use when connecting factory Security Bypass modules or when an additional external Ignition Relay is required for your installation. This wire can be programmed to function as an AUXILIARY OUTPUT #2 providing a momentary (-) Negative output when Button #3 (Trunk) is pressed and held for more than 2 seconds. The Aux Channel #2 output stays on as long a the button is held down. Connect to the Negative activation circuit of an auxiliary module or device.

And

ORANGE / Black: (-) OEM Disarm Output

This wire provides a Ground pulse to disarm vehicles' Factory anti-theft system prior to a Remote Start. Connect this wire to the vehicles' anti-theft disarm wire. This wire is sometimes found coming off the Driver's door key switch or at the Factory Anti-theft control module.

Any Idea which one to use?
